Why doesn't the extension work on certain pages?

Google Chrome restricts extensions from running on specific internal pages for security reasons. This includes the Chrome Web Store, chrome:// settings pages, and other internal browser utilities. It also cannot run on pages blocked by your organization's administrator.

Is it really free?

Yes. StackShot is free to use. There are no watermarks on exports and no hidden subscription fees.

Are my screenshots private?

Absolutely. 100% of the processing happens on your computer. We do not have servers that store your images, and we do not track your activity.

How do I take a PDF screenshot?

After clicking the extension icon, select 'Capture Page'. In the preview window that appears, you can choose 'PDF' as the download format. The extension will automatically handle page breaks for A4 size.
